First Snow

One of the magical things about Glacier National park in the fall is just how fast weather can change. On this afternoon, I started this hike without a cloud in the sky. All of sudden, clouds flooded in and it started to snow. The snow was light and lasted for maybe 10 minutes before disappearing along with the clouds. I was happy to capture the brief moment of weather. If you look closely, you can see the snowflakes illuminated by the sun.
